The 10 Commandments: a special interactive House Gymnastics performance. Volunteers form ephemeral human sculptures as they endeavour to complete The 10 Commandments set by Harrison&Ford. Harrison&Ford take 10 volunteers into a practice room and teach them to perform 10 different moves with varying degrees of difficulty and using different domestic apparatus:

Bath Urchin - Jumping Jack Wedge - X-door - Upper Door Frame Grab - The Triangle - Floor Chicken - Bridge - Shelf Pirouette - Elevated Carpet Crab - Door Wedge

The volunteers are set up in the appropriate parts of the rooms to perform a move each. They all have to perform their allotted move simultaneously. Each move has to be held for 3 seconds. Once everyone has completed their move, they rotate to the next house gym space to perform a different move. 10 adjudicators are required to check the individual moves, in the various locations, for validity and time duration. One minute is allocated to perform each move (including change-over time). Even if they don’t complete the move, they progress to the next. The interactive, art multiple DVD of this event has made it possible to spread The 10 Commandments to a wider audience and fully engross the viewer watching, so it feels like they were actually at the performance. The disc contains intro guidelines, a short documentary-film overlaid with original soundtrack, and also features a real-time CCTV footage chapter.
